What is Rejuran PDRN or PN and how does it work?

The DNA found in Rejuran PDRN or PN is extracted from salmon and works in three different mechanisms:

  • It increases the activity of fibroblasts which are responsible for producing collagen in our skin
  • It acts as a scaffolding for collagen matrix to develop
  • It acts as a building block for DNA

What is the treatment process like?

Rejuran PDRN or PN is injected in very tiny amounts into the skin using a very small, fine needle. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to improve the comfort level of the treatment which most patients are able to tolerate.

FAQ About Rejuran PDRN/PN Skin Healer

  • How long does the procedure take?

    The whole procedure itself takes about 30 minutes after which patients are advised to stay out of prolonged sun exposure and to hydrate the skin for the next few days. Tiny red marks or small bruises may be visible on the skin as a result of the needle injection but these tend to heal within 3-5 days.

  • When will I see results and how many treatment sessions do I need?

    The typical “Glow” from the injections are visible about 2-4 weeks after the treatment and 3-4 sessions are recommended about 1 month apart. After that maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 months for continued skin benefits.

  • Can Rejuran PDRN/PN be combined with any other treatment?

    Yes, Rejuran PDRN/PN works synergistically with other treatments like Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster injections to address skin hydration, skin repair and texture to achieve the perfect complexion all in one treatment.
