IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Hair Removal
IPL uses energy pulses on the skin’s surface to generate thermal injury to destroy the follicles of actively growing hairs. For hairs that are already in the later stages of their life cycle, the follicles may not be completely destroyed, resulting in hair regrowth.As such, multiple IPL sessions may be required in specific time intervals to minimise and even stop the growth of unwanted and unsightly hair.
The effectiveness of IPL hair removal depends on the hair colour and thickness of the hair strand. Coarse and dark hair can absorb more thermal energy and hence respond better to the treatment.
DPL (Dynamic Pulse Laser) Hair Removal with OmniMax S3 system
Equipped with proprietary Dynamic Pulse Control™, OmniMax S3 utilises light (a broad spectrum of light) in controlled intensity over the root of the hair to be removed or the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding tissue. Its precise laser sources target the fine hair that tends to grow after removal of coarse hair.
DPL also has a contact cooling mechanism that protects the epidermis, minimising the risks to blistering, redness and scarring. Not only hair regrowth becomes visibly lesser, the time spent is also comparatively reduced.
More than one treatment is required to achieve desired results as not all of our hair follicles are active at the same time. Inactive hair follicles can be treated as they become active over time.
