Besides delivering deep skin hydration, skin boosters also increase fibroblast activity under the skin to enhance texture, firmness, and elasticity. Simultaneously, it reduces the formation of fine lines, improves open pores as well as enhances the natural glow of our skin.
What is the procedure like?
Topical anaesthesia is applied beforehand to minimize any discomfort and most patients tolerate the procedure well with minimal to no pain. There may be some redness and tiny bruising after the procedure which will last about 3-5 days depending on the individual.
When will I see results?
Positive skin changes are noticed 2-4 weeks after the treatment and will continue to improve with the maximum results visible at 2-3 months. Results can last up to 9 months.
What is Juvederm Volite
Skin Booster comes in many different brands and Juvederm Volite is one of them. It is a minimally invasive injectable treatment that delivers hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural moisture-binding substance found in the dermis of our skin. The HA draws in water molecules from the surrounding tissues to hydrate the skin, improving skin elasticity and overall skin texture. It also can improve the overall quality of the skin by stimulating collagen production.
