About Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are very effective in regenerating the skin, they work by exfoliating or peeling off the top layer of dead skin cells to allow new skin to regrow. This results in the new skin which is smoother and radiant. It can be used to treat acne, superficial pigmentation and minimize wrinkles and fine lines.

Our Approach to Chemical Peels

We offer a variety of peels such as the Enerpeel® PA (Pyruvic Acid), Mela Peel Forte and Milk Peel. At Fusion Medical, we provide customised treatment plans, specific to your needs.

Enerpeel® PA (Pyruvic Acid)

Enerpeel® PA is a pyruvic acid peel excellent for addressing oily and acne prone skin. It is a medium depth chemical peel which has been clinically shown to reduce oiliness of the skin and improve pustular papular acne with minimal side effects of redness and peeling.

Dermaceutic Mela Peel Forte

Mela Peel Forte is used to improve the appearance of spots, epidermal melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It is not only excellent for reducing pigmentation but also is well known for promoting a radiant, clear and bright complexion. It consists of 3 steps each of which is targeted to improve both skin complexion and the appearance of superficial pigmentations.

Dermaceutic Milk Peel

The Milk peel is gentle and suitable for skin on all parts of the body including the axilla (arm pits) and sensitive bikini area. Used on the face it restores a radiant complexion by evening out the skin tone and improving the appearance of lines. It is also very popular for reducing the darkened appearance of the skin in the axilla and bikini folds. It is a safe and easy treatment with no downtime yet providing superior results with the optimal combination of the 3 active ingredients of glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid.

  • Which Peel is best for me?

    Our doctors and staff are able to recommend the best peel for you depending on your condition and skin needs.

  • Will I feel any pain and is there any downtime?

    The procedure will take about 15 minutes and you may experience some mild tingling which will stop as soon as the peel is neutralized or cleaned off. Normal activities can be resumed after but minimal sun exposure and daily use of a sunblock is highly recommended. Depending on the type of peel that is selected for you some have no downtime at all and some may have minor peeling that can last for a few days.

  • How many sessions do I need?

    Typically, 4-6 sessions are recommended at least 4 weeks apart after which maintenance treatment can be done as and when.
