Nose Thread Lift - Sharper, More Defined Nose

Create a prominent symmetrical nose bridge. The nose is often the weakest link of many Asians – lacking in height, poor in definition and projection combined with rather unsightly nostril sizes.

What is Nose Thread Lift ?

It is an advanced technology where small threads are inserted into the nose to give it a better shape, height, and definition. The thread is super thin, about 0.12 mm, and is employed to lift and sharpen a nose. It is made of polydioxanone or PDO. If it sounds familiar, it is because surgeons often use it to close wounds. It is a synthetic yet biodegradable polymer, which is absorbed by the body – usually over the course of six to twelve months after being sewn in. This makes it relatively safe for nose threads.

How does Nose Thread Lift Works?

Threads are inserted into the nose to give it immediate mechanical support.
These threads are made of Polydioxanone (PDO), a 100% bio-absorbable material. This technology allows the threads will dissolve naturally in the nose over the next few months. The threads act like scaffold in your nose allowing a higher and more prominent nose bridge and a sharper, more projected nose tip.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • Is nose thread lift painful?

No. Nose thread lift is not painful. It is very well tolerated by most patients because numbing medications (local anesthesia) is given.

    • Is thread lift permanent?

It’s important to understand that while no lifting technique can produce permanent results, facelift surgery will usually produce longer lasting results than a thread lift. The results of facelift surgery can last up to a decade, whereas a thread lift will generally last from one to three years.

    • How long does it take to recover from thread lift?

Usually four to 16 threads are applied in a treatment, requiring a local anaesthetic, that can last from 20 minutes to an hour. Expect mild to moderate swelling, but recovery time is on average one to two days

    • Is nose thread lift safe?

The threads used for nose thread lift are made of polydioxanone (PDO) and they are completely absorbed over time. In fact, PDO is a synthetic absorbable thread that surgeons use to stitch wounds after a surgery. It is completely safe and bio-compatible with the human body.

    • How long can nose thread lift last?

Results from a Nose Thread Lift treatment can usually last for about 1-2 years. If the treatment is repeated 9 months after the initial treatment, you can expect the result to be longer-lasting
