cPass Test
cPass™ is a test that measures the presence of antibodies or NAbs (antibodies against the virus) in your blood that neutralise the COVID-19 virus as a result of the vaccine. The cPass™ technology distinguishes whether NAbs are present in the blood sample that helps to specifically block the interaction with the COVID-19 virus and hence its entry into the human cell resulting in infection.

As of September 2021, Singapore has been recommending booster jabs to people who have taken their second doses of Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccinations at least 6 months prior. It is a known fact that the efficacy of the level of protection of the vaccines decreases over time, therefore booster jabs are necessary to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.
cPass™ test helps to:
- Evaluate NAb levels after vaccination – to determine if you have developed a level of protection against the COVID-19 virus
- Assess NAb longevity over time – you are recommended to take your booster shot if your NAb level falls below 30%
Current antibody tests available on the market typically test for just IgM or IgG antibodies and are unable to distinguish NAbs from other antibodies that do not possess the ability to activate an individual’s immune response to the COVID-19 virus.
cPass™ test had received US Food Drug Administration (FDA) approval for emergency use. The test had been validated with two COVID-19 patient cohorts in Singapore and China, achieving 99-100% specificity and 95-100% sensitivity.
How long after the vaccine can I do this test?
You can schedule your test 1- 6 months after your last COVID-19 vaccine.
Is a doctor’s consultation required for the test?
No consultation is required unless you would like to consult a doctor to discuss your results. Consultation fee starts from S$28 before GST.
When can I receive my results?
You can receive your results within 3-5 working days.
How much is the test?
S$56 before GST.
